How Do You Know If You’re Clairaudient?

Clairaudience

This is the second week of a tour on the four clairs – or the four psychic styles.

Last week I talked all about how to know if you’re clairvoyant, so if you’re guided to, check it out.

Today, though, is all about clairaudience.

Click on the video below to see what clairaudience is, how to know if you are clairaudient and how to develop this psychic skill.

After watching the video, comment below!

Do you have a tip for developing clairaudience? Let everyone know!

I checked my email yesterday and wondered why I hadn’t gotten my psychic Sunday email yesterday. 😛

    1. Erin-Ashley says:

My internal clock has been all off this week, too. It still feels like Tuesday to me. Haha

  2. This isn’t a technique as much as an experience.
There have been numerous times where I have woken up with lyrics in my head, usually it’s a part of a song that repeats itself. It can happen in the middle of the night, or in the morning. Sometimes this happens during my waking hours too. Many times it’s just plain funny, but there have definitely been times when it has been useful to use as a tool for self reflection to help move me along in my process.

I’m enjoying this series. So far I have some elements of both of the “clair”‘s

    Thanks!

Awesome, Jasmine! I’ve noticed the guides sometimes like to leave funny “messages” to help me get my butt in gear. You’re so welcome! As a side note: most people have more than one. 🙂

  3. Al says:

For years I thought I was going crazy because I hear clear voices in my head. Don’t laugh~ THese are conversations that seem to be taking place. At times two people talking, and at times just one voice. The words don’t make much sense to me. I can repeat them, but somethimes their just words put together and make phrases that don’t mean anything to me, or are not relevent to anything.

    1. Erin-Ashley says:

It sounds like you’re getting mediumship information – like you’re overhearing a conversation between deceased people or guides. It rarely makes any more sense than hearing part of someone else’s conversation in real life.

      Sending love,
      EA

  4. Dranda says:

Its funny hearing this, but most mornings I hear songs that come out of no where. This has happened most of my life and I thought it weird until now.

  5. Hanna says:

I think I may be clairaudient but I’m not sure because I once heard someone screaming in an elevator it sounded like a little girl being murdered and there has been multiple occasions that I’ve heard things that nobody else can hear such as voices but I’m not crazy I know I’m not.

  6. Tamee Perales says:

During my relaxation time I heard words in a foreign language. Afterwards I researched to see what they meant. It was an actual phrase. I have never had this happen before. I am taking it as a gift.

  7. Maryann says:

I found my strongest quality must be Clairaudient. I hear voices in my head all the time. These are just one word; messages if you call them? It does not make any sense to me or resonate with me what so ever. However, one time when my cat passed away. This happened after an hour after I came home from the Vets office after having my beloved cat PTS. I was at the kitchen sink washing dishes sobbing when I heard her say to me…”I’m coming back” I said to myself “WHAT!” I knew it was my cat! her voice sounded like a child. From there on I knew I can communicate with those on the other side. Animals and humans. I have not told many people about this as they will think I’m totally crazy!

  8. Mcguinness says:

A few times when I tune every sound around me out I hear nothing for a slight moment then I start to hear random orchestra music or voices of both people I do and don’t know saying or shouting my name

  9. Zachary Daniels says:

I’m a songwriter and I’ve always heard songs out of nowhere. The best songs are usually when I’m asleep. I also hear audible voices and it’s very unsettling. Its a wonder to hear a fully composed piece of music in a dream. Of course i don’t rely on this for writing but it helps. I also have a strange experience where I’m in a classroom in what seems like outer space. My teacher is myself except much larger. There are strange forces out there.

  10. Kritsina says:

I constantly hear ringing. It’s really high pitched and I’m not sure if it’s spirits, but it could be. I’ve also seen my dead grandparents in dreams.

    1. Jordan says:

Sometimes for me I hear what sounds like a million cicadas going off in my head and the volume fluctuates so it goes from loud to quiet to loud and so on.

  11. Jordan says:

Is it weird that the first song that came to me had no lyrics? It was purely instrumental.

  12. Lucy says:

I also hear a constant high pitched ringing of various different tones, it feels like. Then at times, I also get a specific tone that comes into one ear or the other and sometimes it seems like it goes from one ear through my head to my other ear. Those really get my attention. I’ve also heard voices in my head, or thought forms the odd time. Once there was one warning me not to do something. I didn’t listen and I ended up with a sprained ankle.

  13. Jessica says:

I have musical ear syndrome. Sometimes I hear classical music when I am vacuuming, or what sounds like a radio in the distance, etc. I just figured it was my brain trying to process all the intricate white noise sounds into something viable.
But I have also been awoken from a dead sleep from people calling my name and in 2012 as I was between wake/asleep, I heard my deceased dad whisper “Happy Birthday” in my ear (on my Birthday). It was around 4:30 am and I woke up entirely after that and wondered if it was just my imagination, so I asked for a sign. RIght then, my husband’s alarm went off and it was Johnny Cash singing lyrics (Heaven above, I’ll love you…) My dad looked like Elvis, but we called him “The Man in Black” because he always wore all black western attire. He also passed during a Johnny Cash song. (The Beatles cover “In My Life”).

I have a blog filled with synchronicities regarding my father and others in my life who have passed that I keep for validations, but I usually don’t hear voices. I usually only have “compulsions” to do, say or write things…like I am being used as a vessel….but every once in a while I hear a voice and it’s usually during the state of hypnagogia.

  14. Cha says:

I always hear high pitched ringing. All of the time on and off. This only started happening this year but has gotten more frequent. It also only started after i had a spiritual awakening and i have been told by a medium that i am a reader of people and will eventually work in her field. I have had my ears looked at and they are fine. I also upped my vitamin intake. Alot lf the time the ringing occurs when I’m thinking of problems and solutions or when im going through some troubles. It could be stress related?? But I’ve been stressed for years and this is new??? Could it be spiritual?

    1. Erin-Ashley says:

Sometimes this is spiritual, other times it’s physical. Take note of whether you only experience it when you’re tuning in or connecting to spirit – it could be a new spirit guide or helpful entity trying to connect. Practice raising your vibration before connecting to see if that helps, too.

  15. Aimee says:

Okay soooo I’m claireaudient as far as songs go. I don’t hear conversations or voice in my head .. but invite that. I do hearing ringing in my ears. Ive been told my guides are chatty.

  16. Norma says:

Hi, i constantly get This song but im not sure what the Message is, it could be in My head for hours. It comes At diferrent times, i sometimes wake up in the morning with It in My head can can be working On a project And here it come. Then there are time that I don’t realize it but I’m humming the song. Strange enough the song is…
When Johnny comes marching home. I know there is a message there, but I can not break the code.

  17. Dawna says:

Aug 10/18 So spirit didn’t even LET me finish watching this video. Why? I am clearly clairaudient. This wasn’t even something I considered. I simply thought it was normal to dictate your thoughts in your head, or have conversations with yourself, or be connected to sounds, etc…

After 40 bloody years of my life how had I not even considered this?!

And now I feel absolutely sad for those who live with the silence. I couldn’t imagine life like that.

  18. Erin says:

I need mass advise help please. Basically on how to make things subside if not stop… possibly bind even. I know who I am and my abilities however am in a position ATM where I can’t really utilize anything to help like I should. It’s majorly complicated. I hear it all….music old radio stations game shows stadium audiences even the voices w in the stadiums if that makes sense I also play the piano and compose and play by ear I used that since childhood as a coping device in regards to the music I’d hear….. absolutely nobody knows about what I go through I’ve already had one nervous breakdown over it and I fear another one is has been over due my anxiety is sky high only difference now is ive been sober for 5yrs now. Please help

    NAMASTE

  19. Patty B says:

Hi Erin, this is my first visit and I was researching Music Ear Syndrome however after having my hearing tested and ruling out hearing loss – over the last year I’ve really been drawn to inner work, upleveling my intuitive abilities, etc. I did a search on the connection between MES and psychic abilities and found this page! Yeah! — I want to thank you for the clarity in understanding what clariaudience is now that leads me to how to really tune into the moments when I do experience the music or almost as if I’m in a crowded cafe — unlike Music Ear Syndrome it isn’t all the time, it isn’t at any one particular part of the day. I am thankful to know that when I hear myself say something, or when I hear someone else say my name to get my attention that I am not crazy. I almost feel like I’ve opened a door and now everything is coming through in waves.

  20. Pascale says:

    Hi Erin-Ashley.
I already have some sense of my claire abilities, but haven’t thought of ‘working with’ lyrics before, being self taught, apart from animal communication.
This was quite profound, moved me to tears actually:D
While still watching the video I thought about doing the exercise, but quicker than I could’ve ever done consciously “you can get it if you really want, you can get it if you really want..” hit me like a ton of bricks! This applies to so much more than just this exercise for me at the moment.
So thanks for that! 😀 <3

  21. Adrienne says:

always knew I had some form of physic ability but I closed it off at a young age, as I didn’t know how to deal with all the different types of visions, smells sounds, knowing others feelings like they are my own.
It was kind of scary wondering if this is how life is for everybody? Then as my I grew so did my knowledge, More since being an adult I started to embrace my connection with the universe.
In school I always had lots of trouble concentrating because I need all three ways to fully learn something, visual, audio, tactile ( or hands on). Always knew I felt some kind of way about life, and drawn to like minded people. Seem to just find answers; as questions arise; from such clear sources. Thank you for these informative videos. I just had a major flash

    1. Erin-Ashley says:

I’m so glad they helped you, Adrienne!

  22. Nicole says:

Happy to hear that me answering my own questions and having conversations with myself is normal lol

  23. Jacob says:

I only just learned about MES. I have been going crazy for a long time. It is true I see a pattern in everything. But lately the wall fans in motels have been a vague what kinda sounds and feels like somone who is angry. Sometimes it is, living in motels can be rough. Sometimes if I only focus on the fan I can hear the actual fan noise and not voices. I have heard music before but it’s usually 2 people talking in the walls. I have always been extremely sensitive and empathic.
