Tune Into Spirit by Listening to Rihanna

A few months ago I was feeling REALLY freakin’ tired and drained.

I had quite a few readings to do, and I simply wasn’t sure how I was going to get them done on time and with the quality I demand of myself and my work.

Feeling depleted, I chatted with my guides and asked how I could finish everything easily and effortlessly and for the highest good for all involved.

Their response?

Stop meditating to tune in.

Start listening to Rihanna.

Start having FUN to tune into spirit.

Yeah, I can get behind that.

Raising Your Vibration is Subjective

The key to tuning into your guides and your spirit is to raise your vibration. The higher your vibration, the easier it is to hear the call of your spirit, the message of your guides and angels, and to FEEL the electric possibilities the universe is bringing to you every single moment.

Most pros tune in using meditation and vibration raising rituals that include sage, crystals, sprays, cards, etc. And that’s cool. It’s highly effective and that might be perfect for you – regardless of whether you’re a pro psychic, aspiring to be a pro, or simply wanting to connect with your own team on the other side.

But maybe the way for you to tune in is to have a dance party in your living room to some Nikki Minaj.

Each person has a unique way of showing up in the world. What works for one person may not work for you.

The KEY is to raise your vibration, and having fun shoots your vibration right into the ether.

The question to ask is: What sounds like the most fun right now?

If it’s using sage, crystals and meditation, then enjoy it.

If it’s a dance party, bust out the champagne glasses, pour some Kombucha and have a great one.

I’d love to hear from you! How do YOU tune into your spirit?

I think this is super important and I’m so thankful you’ve shared it! I have found myself in the place you described several times. I love meditating and listening to New Age/Spa music all day. It keeps me relaxed, calm and aligned, but occasionally I reach a point where it’s not raising my vibration anymore and I’m just on the verge of dozing. A change of music and mini dance party (sometimes singing loudly) picks me up every time! You should check out Odetta’s “Hit or Miss” – It’s on YouTube. I love to sing and dance (and embrace my individuality) to that one, as well as Nikki Minaj. :)

GREAT point, Erin-Ashley. Whatever raises our energy to a high and bright point is probably what is best for us! I know I definitely forget to have FUN within the spiritual realm. I guess I need to check out Rihanna!

    Hello Erin!
Right on. Myself, I am an old-school, R&B girl. At dinner here at home, we push back the furniture, crank up the tunes and get dancing and cooking!

    Big love Cheryl

I tune in as much as possible I speak to my Guides because they are my friends because they love me so much I talk to them because they are always there and have learned to trust their answers they speak to me often and I love that about them.

I think, without knowing it, I’ve always been connecting to Spirit through my mental and intellectual concepts. Although it has getting me very “high” and it can put me in a very high vibrationnal state (to extreme joy, tears, liberation feeling, etc.), I do feel that I should explore other ways to raise my vibration. Sports do it for me too. I’m learning right now how to open my chakras, make them spin, balance them, etc. This is interesting too.

    Thanks for this great article!!

I really thought I was the only one who drank Kombucha out of Champagne glasses! Love it! And great advice…sometimes moving around in playful ways is just as effective as meditation, in my opinion!

I like listening to music, like “Happy” by Pharrell, or 70s music. I also enjoy dancing. I meditate and listen to chakra meditations online.

I absolutely LOVE this and it makes so much sense! *sigh* where have you been all my ‘ psychic life’?! I’ve been trying to study, read up, listen to meditation songs and I would be ready to check the clock after minute-1, but this notion? I can definitely get behind this, after all,i have dance parties nearly everyday at my house just to boogie the blahs away! 😉

The traditional meditation methods can be great, but if they FEEL restricting, it’s totally NOT helping your vibes. 😉 You may want to explore dancing meditation (yes, that’s totally a thing)… that will likely rock your chakras.
