Unconditional Love

The definition of unconditional love is simple:

The ability to feel love for anyone at any time without a reason.

This is a skill, not something most of us were born with.

Many of us, myself included, try to develop unconditional love and occasionally fall flat. This is caused by misperceptions we have about the world, ourselves and what it means to love unconditionally.

Unconditional love is NOT an excuse to become a doormat or to accept poor behavior from others. You can experience love while saying, “I expect to be treated with dignity and respect.”

In the video below I talk about what unconditional love is and is not and I walk you through how to develop those love muscles.

As promised in the video, below is the Unconditional Love Intensive. Use this series of journaling questions to practice unconditional love and release what no longer serves you.

In the comments below, let me know:

  1. Do you feel like you love unconditionally? Why or why not?
  2. Do you workout your unconditional love muscle?
  3. Why do you think you (or others) don’t love unconditionally?

Thank you for watching, and if you want extra practice with forgiveness and love, the Forgive the Shit Out of Your Life course can be found by clicking here.

Sending love,

Rev. Kerti
