How to Create an Instant Intuition System

Have you ever wanted to clearly know whether a decision is good for you and your goals instantly? Did you want to know that it was your intuition rather than wish fulfillment or fantasy? Did you want to know whether the fear was an indication of growth or whether the decision you were considering was really a bad decision or fit for you?

If so, you are not alone. Not remotely. These are common worries and concerns when working with your intuition, and if you want to use your intuition for decision-making during your day when you don’t have time to get into a meditative state or commune with your higher self or your guides, then the solution is to set up a “Yes No System.”

What is a “Yes No System”?

The “Yes No System” is a system you set up in advance to let you know when you’re getting a positive intuitive hit, or a “Yes”, or negative intuitive hit, a “No.”  This allows you to know instantly when information is intuitive based or based in your mind’s programming or subconscious expectations. Having a system in place shows you when your feelings are based in reality and when they are not. This goes for fear and wish fulfillment, because it can go both ways. You can easily delude yourself into thinking things are better OR worse than they are. Doing either of these things slows down your growth and development.

How to build the system

Here’s how it works. You assign a very specific physical sensation to the “yes” and a different and equally specific physical sensation to the “no.” For me, I’ve set up a system where I get a tingling sensation in my right pinky if the answer is an intuitive “yes.” I get a tingling sensation in my left forefinger if the answer is an intuitive “no.” You can set yours up however you like. It can be warmth, coolness, tingling or some other sensation and it can be anywhere in your body that you like, but make sure that you decide a very specific area and sensation.

Step 1: Choose the sensation type

This is important, because it needs to be something that you won’t “accidentally” experience in the course of your everyday life. So, if you have poor circulation, choosing a tingling sensation is out of the question for you, especially in your extremities.  If you tend to be very sensitive to temperatures, choosing warm or cool sensations may not make sense. This is crucial because you do not want to get a false signal about your intuitive hits. You want it to be a sensation you can clearly identify because you do not normally experience it.

Step 2: Choose sensation locations

You need to choose two locations, one for “yes” and one for “no.”
The areas need to be small, but not so small that they are easily overlooked or unnoticed. This is why I like using my fingers. They have a lot of nerves, so they are very good for feeling and sensing things, and they make up a small area of my body. The areas also have to be highly specific. When, in the course of normal life, would only the tip of your index finger on your left hand tingle? I can’t remember the last time that happened without an intuitive basis.

Step 3: Program yourself

This is the step that requires a little skill, but it’s a basic meditation skill. You’ll want to be able to meditate and lead yourself through a meditation process. First, allow yourself to relax completely and allow thoughts to flow in and out of your awareness without needing to engage with them. Once you get to this point, stay there for a few minutes. Enjoy it. Next, imagine a celestial staircase and see yourself walking up it. See as much detail as you can. What kind of shoes are you wearing? What are the stairs made out of?  Marble? Glass? How does each step feel under your feet? Is there a hand rail present? Count the steps as you go, and allow yourself to get to a higher and higher vibration with each step. Keep going until you feel a deep, permeating sense of peace or love. When you feel that sense of peace and love, step off the staircase and into a beautiful garden. Look around you and see the garden. Again, see it with as much detail as you can. Spend a little time enjoying the garden and the plants. You have complete control of this garden, so change anything you like. When you’re ready, ask your guides or your higher self to help you program your body for the intuitive system you created in the first two steps. Explain exactly the sensation type and location for the “yes.” Explain the sensation type and location for the “no.” This doesn’t take long, but if you’d like, you can wait for a minute or two and enjoy the love and peace in the garden. Once you feel your task is complete, go ahead and go back down the staircase until you feel grounded and connected with your physical surroundings again.

Step 4: Solidify the programming

This is the most important step in the process, because if this step isn’t followed, the work you did up to this point is wasted. The programming WILL NOT STICK unless you follow through on this step. It’s deceptively simple, but vitally important. The final step to solidifying your “Yes No System” is to listen when you get an intuitive hit. You designed this for a reason, and that reason was to allow yourself to get feedback instantly that is reliable and allows you to recognize your intuition. I recommend that you set up a few questions that are small enough that they will be easy for you to follow through on immediately after your meditation. It should be something simple like, “Would watching a television show right now be relaxing and for my highest good?” This is easy and regardless of whether you get a “yes” or a “no” it should be fairly effortless to follow through. Choose simple decisions to start off with until you’re very comfortable with this system. Work up to the bigger ones only once you’re comfortable with asking for advice and taking the advice your given with the small decisions.

That’s it! That’s all it takes to set up a system to easily and accurately get a “yes” or “no” from your intuition and bypass the emotional clutter. Do you have any systems you use now? Share in the comments!
